Week Six: Fail to Plan, Plan to Fail
It’s a new week, Momshells!
The old saying “if you fail to plan, plan to fail” really holds true when it comes to sticking to your healthy eating plan.
We all get busy and sometimes it is difficult to carve out the time to grocery shop and prepare our meals and snacks for the week.
I’ve been there!
For me, my schedule changes almost every single week so I don’t typically shop and prep on the same day.
But I know one thing is for sure: I save ALOT of time, money and energy if I invest the time at some point during my busy week to prepare my menu.
There’s nothing worse than being dog tired with a few sporty, smelly, hungry kids and having to resist the temptation of McDonalds drive through when you’re short on time and famished!
This always ends up making me feel very sluggish and less energetic for the things I need to accomplish so in turn, spending the time at the start of the week always ends up helping me to feel more productive!!
On this week’s plan you’ll see the family friendly Peanut Butter and Banana Skinny French Toast that pairs PB and bananas in a high protein frensh toast that your family will love!
Be sure to make a few batches of this to save that precious time in the mornings….and so that you have leftovers because your kiddos are going to be sure to gobble them up!
My buffalo chicken bowl is a quick and delish favorite and I love that the key ingredient, my Easy Crock Pot Buffalo Chicken, can be used in so many other dishes and as a side with a clean carb like sweet potato and a side of veggies.
My Asian Beef Skinny Slaw is a dude favorite! I love this dish as well but with the Asian flavor and savory beef as the main ingredient, my boyfriend loves when I make this dish!
Enjoy!
xoxo
